today is my sis’s 22nd birthday, so got to eat quite alot of nice and good food thanks to her XD

had for lunch my mum’s 猪肝瘦肉面线, or pig liver and lean pork meat mee sua..mum’s standard dropped a little already,but still very nice! then had stuff like cola wings(a weird request from my sis =.=) and steamed prawns, then b4 that was at vivocity helping to buy a cake for her, had a craving for starbucks, so went over and bought a  dark moccha frappucino!seriously good, although its a little expensive at $7.40 for a medium sized one. but still its goood….lol.

bought an ‘awfully chocolate’ cake from vivocity for my sis, all-chocolate at 1/2 kg for $25.80, which is really good and quite worth it,bought her a giant pack of tim tam chocolate biscuits for her birthday present..i know sounds cheapskate la,but still i oso dunno what to buy her anws, food is still the best thing to buy..no wonder one of the aunt on my dad’s side used to give me the same brand of chocolate every year for, like, 3 years. o.O

had a more simple dinner tonight with some leftovers from afternoon and fish and my mum’s favourite dish to cook, fried egg with prawns, one dish she tends to cook almost every weekend.

my ex-girlfriend jacq asking to meet up next wk for dinner/pool..dunno whether to accept or reject..somehow thinking about it now, it makes me feel very weird, but i dunno..i dun want to see her,yet i know that if i dun meet her and know hw’s she getting along, i will tend to be guilty for how it ended..argh. give me some opinion pls.. =(

mum nagged at me last night, and no, this time it wasnt abt studies, exams, results, room being untidy, spending too much time on my laptop etc..but rather this time was abt my cooking..

why, u may ask?

well, its because in a spur, i decided to go ntuc buy squid to cook pasta with. its not the usual long ones, its more like baby squids..$2 for one big pack.so basically my mum nagged at me asking me why i chose to buy squid, as supposedly its damn hard to clean. lots of work has to be done on cleaning b4 it can be cooked. true,it was a little troublesome because of the ink and somehow there’s something like a piece of plastic in every squid which has to removed.and the heads of the squid have to be scrubbed etc. so my mum was nagging and nagging..

haix..dun let me experiment around, how wld i know how to cook it next time anws..besides its not the first time i cooked squid, just the first time she saw me eating it in my sphagetti..=P

darn im jealous of the way in which my class people can spend their money. went along with some of the guys in the class to Sim Lim Square, they going to collect pay from working at the last IT fair at Suntec, me going over to look for a new Sony Ericsson headset. walked around awhile, then went on to Bugis, got a drink and some snacks, and went over to the Adidas shop. there, one of them bought a shirt which was $62 dollars(b4 30% discount though, end up ard $43), even though it wasnt exactly his size.i there stunned..

damn..so jealous..i also want to be able to spend money like that! i want new harddisk! new headphones! $$$ to upgrade my laptop! argh. want upgrade disk space and if possible RAM..but now broke, just passed $100 to my mum for my laptop..darn it!!!

wonder why people call monday a ‘blue’ day..somehow black would seem more appropriate if it means a damn moody day, but then again, imagine a person telling u ‘na, im just suffering from the monday blacks’ lol..

school reopened again today, large crowds of people flooding the canteens and everywhere else as usual, plus back to having lessons and having to do fyp in conjunction with project and school work. sigh. mels project due next week but havent even lifted a finger to start doing it. seems like we’re not the only group who hasnt touched it lol, which can mean either a good thing or a bad thing, good being probably present another week, bad being probably we all die a horrible death tgt.

got back my psct ct paper..just nice passed only, 35/70. see result already damn sianx, didnt have the mood to continue listening on to the rest of the lesson, so ended up playing game on my handphone and just staring blankly into the ceiling or on the projector screen. psct stretched past till around 440 cos the damn lecturer wanted to finish an extra chapter, so used one of the breaks in btwn to go up measure absorbance of cells for my fyp, since i wldnt be paying attention anws.

proteomics and genomics were ok, proteomics still can understand, then genomics was ok, watched a few videos on GMO(genetically modified organisms)..

i think im abit of a binge eater and spender whenever im moody or grumpy. just as well as i was wearing my ‘im entitled to be grumpy’ t-shirt today lol. went off to the ntuc near the boon lay market near my house and bought stuff like potato chips, which i seldom eat, drinks and instant noodles. ended up cooking sphagetti for dinner at home..just like cooking, dunno why also..haha..

tmr got proteomics practical..5 hours..every time see timetable got 5 slots of practical darn sianx..haix..

just came back from my aunt’s house after having dinner there, which was my grandma’s most-loved dish in the whole family: mee sua or 面线, one dish where usually the whole family only gets to eat once on the 1st day of Chinese New Year itself. however, due to the request of my youngest cousin, and that it was to celebrate her birthday, we got to eat it on a separate occassion. according to statistics said by my grandma, we tend to eat up to 3 kg of the noodles every single time, and this time, she bought 3.5kg just to cook in one single dinner for us. as usual, it was us youngsters, the 3rd generation eating the most. if im not wrong i ate the most (as usual haha), with 4 bowls. i still have not beaten my record of 5 1/2 bowls in one sitting though..haha.

watched a little big of the movie Kung Fu Panda on vcd which my cousins bought from malaysia, then had to flee when my uncle came back with durians.argh.just when i was enjoying the show.darn it..went up to the rooms and then chatted with my cousins about things like emigration and army and stuff, then watched tv and played their Rubik’s cube, all the way till 10plus while waiting for my youngest uncle to come. late as usual. haix..cut cake then went up, talked abit, then my cousin, who’s in sec 1, takes out her homework and asks us. turns out her whole maths assignment for the june holidays has not been done yet, and school reopens on monday.

WOW.YOU ARE SO SCREWED.

ended up only being able to help her do 3 qns because parents were calling for us to go home le. good luck to you completing your assignments, think you’ll really need it lol.

now at home, tomorrow gonna go town shopping with parents for clothes, to try and take advantage of Great Singapore Sale lol.hope to get some plain polo t-shirts and if possible, some round neck t-shirts with interesting logos, like mine with the ‘im entitled to be grumpy’ logo. thought that was really cool, so if possible wanna find more shirts with such kinds of logo.

jacq msged me just nw, so kinda like asked hw each other how they were doing, and to like ask each other to take care and stuff. glad she’s going to go SMU, one school that she wanted to go since i knew her le, so yea good luck and take care!

last thing:

CAN THOSE DARN CHINA LADIES STOP CALLING ME FROM MALAYSIA ASKING ME TO HELP THEM DO MARKET SURVEY?! dunno hw many times already la! damn it.

not gonna blog much, been busy with fyp stuff this whole week..will be in school for the whole day i guess, from like 10 all the way till 5..feels like i have no life other than fyp..sianx..anws, just wanna blog about this:

so bored i ended up playing online pool with hansel last night from 8 till 11plus. wow. proves how boring my life is.

want school to start asap, so i don’t need to spend my whole day doing fyp.

edit: im having a crazy thought now: to go down to meridian food court in town after fyp tmr to have korean food.damn im crazy arent’t i.

been lazy to blog the past 2 days..just..plain lazy, i guess..been slacking for the whole weekend..

been playing psp alot and just surfing net,playing mob wars on facebook to try to level myself up,but keep getting attacked by some idiotic ppl who like to attack noobs with no chance of being able to defend themselves(which,in case u do not know, refers to me..). guess that’s one of the main reasons why i keep playing it lol..just to level myself up. sounds dumb eh?

finally watched finish Code GeAss season 1 and finished up the episodes released for Code GeAss R2(up till episode 9 as of last week)..damn nice..Code GeAss R2 started off a little lame as they were trying to connect the dots from the first season till now, but R2 really shows what a bastard the main character LeLouch is..haha..now downloading D-Grayman to watch..heard its nice but never did bother to..since nw holidays just download and watch for fun ba..

went to the PC Show at Suntec on Friday with John, partly to go find friends working there, like Hansel, Tom and Teng Hon, and also to take a look around,look for digital camera and external harddisks..now harddisks seem so much cheaper compared to the time i bought my 80gb one. now 250gb only $133,but probably that’s the IT fair price ba..damn..if i had the money i probably would have bought it already..

laptop did a stunt on me literally yesterday morning. just installed some windows update thing, if im not wrong is the windows vista service pack 1. i have totally no idea what it does,but as long as it doesnt harm my laptop ok le..after installing and restarting, my audio driver was gone..aka when i want to play audio/video files,no sound will come out.had no idea hw the service pack affects it,but was totally stunned..end up having to go to fujitsu website and download the audio driver, thanks to the help of jie ren.

meanwhile, decided to stop myself from thinking too much about her. finally decided to ask her how she feels about me and stuff, end up, like 3 years ago, she didnt understand my qns.. ask already like no point, like never answer like that..haix…oh well.. i had already made up the decision to not think so much just carry on with life alone. of course didnt expect her to say she like me,but still…haix her answers still as blur..guess that’s one part of her which probably won’t change..haha..=)

fyp partner:

hey tmr i got the PPP, so you can come sch to prepare the 3bottles of media and autoclave them so its cooled by the time i come in. Can streak plates too.

wah,sounds insane to me.hard to do..later see the level 7 tso bin cao cao again cos i ask her for casein hydrosylate the last time..that itself is a problem.plus still have to autoclave,which wld probably take up to 2hours for it to be autoclaved and cooled,prob still have to make media..haix..busy busy busy..probably have to go in by 8am.hope the tso who help to open the door for me to the lab in by 8,otherwise very hard to finish..damn sianx..

spent whole day at home and accomplished nothing..unless of course u would like to count in:

- unlocking several characters in Dynasty Warriors 4 on the PSP

- sleeping till 10am, when i usually sleep at most until 9,930am.

boring day today, tmr’s gonna be similar. no fyp tmr as wen xin’s sick, so probably gonna meet on monday instead to do..which leaves me with nothing on until late afternoon, meeting john to go over suntec for IT fair, go find hansel and tom who are working their asses off there lol. probably gonna go look up on some digi cams, feel like getting one,but with only 300plus in my nice little $$$ container, tempted to spend it,but will leave me with little cash come end of the month, aka no money return mum for this laptop im typing on.

back to dynasty warrior-ing on psp..

finally got to try to prawn noodles at boon lay market, near where i live. went the last time but think there was a long queue there and ended up having some lousy, sour-tasting kueh chup. this prawn noodle was recommended by bro, and it was not bad,can be considered one of the better stalls selling prawn noodles, as its damn hard to find one nice one nowadays.

overall..the noodles were not overcooked(which is a good thing), prawns were solid and had the springy taste that we love prawns to have, and most importantly for me,the soup tasted good and did not taste like it was mainly flavoured by MSG.

after that had to head over to school to do fyp, but it got damn bloodily screwed up. we could only use the lab until 11(me and my partner met up at 10am just for info..) and then our media got contaminated…AGAIN!RAWR..

so ended up we cldnt do anything in school for our project, could only decide on what we need to do on friday and plan out. had nothing to do, so went to meet john and hansel, ended up helping them with their project till about 1pm, thn all 3 of us went to long john silver’s at jurong east entertainment centre to have lunch. played pool and arcade for awhile after that and came back home.

went out to meet bro to play basketball again after that then came home slack till now..darn sleepy now…still got projects to start on,like MELS project, PSCT, then have to start preparing for proteo’s project soon already. luckily tmr nothing on so im gonna sleep in if possible and start doing my assignments…lol.

went out with john and hansel from my current BMS class today. 2 fun buggers lol.

met up, had macdonalds breakfast while waiting for hansel, then went off to cdans to bowl as its damn cheap over there during the school holidays, only $1 per game between 9am-12pm. but turns out, we werent the only ones who were taking advantage of the good offer. the whole bowling alley was full of people, and we were 8th on the waiting list. according to the uncle running the bowling alley, people came in as early as 815am. wow,typical singaporeans eh, kiasu-ism…

finally managed to get to bowl after thick-skinned john went to ask an uncle who was bowling alone if we cld join him to bowl. luckily the uncle was ok with the idea, so we got to bowl around 4 games b4 going off. if not probably we wouldnt have got to bowl even a single one. turns out the uncle was nearing 80(!) and was a regular..and he beat us hands down.(T_T)

went off after that over to vivocity to watch:

kungfu panda! lol haha..bought the tickets after queuing for more than 5mins and went over to have Carl’s Jr for lunch. had the charboiled chicken club set with beef chili cheese fries. thanks to hansel, we were pretty full just by eating the fries, due to his comments and jokes(the learning curve eh? right…lol) so we ended up chatting and stoning there, slowly eating our meals. first time eat one set until damn full and almost felt like puking.and plus the burger got downsized already.sianx. movie was at 435, and we had one hour plus to kill so we went around walking in Toys R’ Us, the bookshop, and the pet shop to digest our food b4 going over to the cinema.

overall the movie was funny, tended to be a little lame thanks to Jack Black, but good show overall, should watch with a light-hearted mind..may end up watching again on weekend, cos mum says she wants to watch..(erm right…)

tomorrow have to go back school do fyp again, damn sianx..forday called me just b4 the movie was starting, hope he doesnt know i was slacking haha XD
